Is it because of the release of the new Star Trek, or is it just coincidence that
- we found out the creation of life was not that improbable after all,
- we learned that warp drive is theoretically possible,
- ESA put two new space observatories in orbit, Herschel and Planck,
- and Hubble got an upgrade?
