Weekend!

Yeah! It's W.E.E.K.E.N.D!

The regular visitors of my blog, or the ones that follow me on twitter or facebook, will have noticed that I've been stressing out a bit this week. Which is why I'm so happy it's weekend of course :D
So, what was the fuzz about then?
Well, on Wednesday I had to present the results from three interviews I held for a course on 'Nähe und Distanz in der Wissensgesellschaft'. We collected quite a lot of data, which induced some nice discussions on the subject. Do jobs follow people nowadays, instead of people following the jobs? Has the place in which you work (office, home, café) become irrelevant, or less relevant? Are Dutch people more family oriented and less individualistic than Germans / Berliner?
And then today, I had to present (in 5 minutes) the paper that ought to have written until Friday last week on economic forecasting in brainport policy. Ought to have, yes, but hadn't. So I had to finish that first. Which I didn't...
But, the presentation went fine. Again, it was nice to discuss the different (and similar) results we all found. This afternoon, actually just now, I finally finished the report, which I am actually quite content with. Not perfect, never perfect, but quite ok :) [I might put it online here later, but I really wanna go get something to eat now]
So, it's weekend! For the moment... Two more reports to write until next Friday, so the weekend won't be that long. And some of you will be seeing some stressed out tweets again next week. But I don't worry about that now because it's ....... exactly
